Gwiazda Morza loves animals. We have hosted dogs of many breeds, sizes, and colors. Every well-behaved dog that does not damage our equipment is warmly welcome. We have also hosted cats and rabbits in our rooms.

We are a pet-friendly hotel! Gwiazda Morza loves four-legged friends. We have hosted dogs of many breeds, sizes, and colors. Every well-behaved dog that does not damage our equipment is warmly welcome. We have also hosted cats and rabbits in our rooms. Many of our employees also have their own pets, who have often visited their owners' workplaces. So you understand... animals are important to us.

We do not charge a daily fee like most hotels. We charge a one-time fee regardless of the length of stay, amounting to 150 PLN. This amount includes: the cost of non-standard room cleaning after the stay, insurance for the dog's owner for any damages caused by the pet, and a 15 PLN donation per pet to the Pomeranian Wild Animal Rehabilitation Center "Ostoja" in Pomieczyn. Pets are welcome in our Lobby, private park, and on the hotel roof. However, for their safety and the safety of other small and large guests, pets are not allowed in the SPA Institute (level +3), the entire Wellness zone (level -1), and conference rooms. All necessary information regarding stays with pets at Gwiazda Morza can be found in the document "Animal Stay Rules".

Where to go with a dog by the sea?

We especially recommend the areas surrounding the hotel where pets definitely won't get bored. The entrance to beach no. 2, which is accessible by a footbridge directly from Gwiazda Morza, is not a guarded bathing area - so there is no ban on animals. Another advantage is the lack of additional beach entrances until the port, which makes this part of the beach quite secluded from tourist crowds. Therefore, both the beach during and outside the season, as well as the coastal landscape park surrounding the hotel, provide an ideal starting point for dog owners.

There are also "DOG PACKAGE" stations in the park. These are dispensers with bags for dog waste along with containers for disposal. These locations were not chosen by chance and are spread throughout the municipality. They are areas especially appreciated by animal owners as they favor long walks. It is worth noting that failing to clean up after your dog can result in a fine of up to 500 PLN, and walking a dog off-leash is punishable by a 250 PLN fine.

For those seeking more excitement, pets will surely enjoy a trip to Hel to explore post-military fortifications in nearby forests or industrial wrecks of warships ORP Wicher II and Grom II. Sea wolves (and dogs too!) will definitely enjoy a ship or cutter cruise. Many owners allow their four-legged friends to join free of charge. However, it's important to bring a warm sweatshirt even on a hot day, and for chilly dogs, a blanket, as it can get cold.

According to regulations, dogs are not allowed in many areas of the Coastal Landscape Park reserves near the Hel Peninsula, but we have another solution for you. Numerous nature paths, hiking trails, and cycling routes remain available where contact with nature and local history will be equally attractive.

Equally attractive may be the pier in Jurata or the port in Władysławowo with the longest mural strip in Poland. During the season, a great entertainment for dogs and their owners will be a trip to the Cornfield Maze, where entrance for pets is free.

Bringing dogs to the beach

In the Władysławowo Municipality, there is no ban on bringing dogs to the beach, except for guarded bathing areas. We recommend entrance to beach no. 2, right next to the hotel.

According to the regulations of the Władysławowo Municipality, dog owners are required to:

  • Properly care for their animals, especially not leaving them unattended.
  • Walk dogs on a leash and with a muzzle if they pose a threat to the surroundings.
  • Remove any waste left by their dogs.
  • Ensure that dogs' presence in shared-use areas is not a nuisance.

However, if the surroundings of Gwiazda Morza become too familiar for your four-legged friends, we also recommend the beautiful dog beaches in Kuźnica (entrance 31) and Jastarnia (entrance 55).

To the restaurant with a dog

Pets are welcome here, so of course, we recommend ourselves :) A dog can calmly accompany you in Sail at our Restaurant N54 and also in our Restaurant H12, or at the Sky Bar. We have quite a few bowls on the hotel premises; just ask the staff and your pet will receive fresh water.

When it comes to healthy food, treats, and additional professional equipment for a dog or cat, the Skalar pet shop located at Hallera 2 Street, just a 10-minute walk from the hotel, may be helpful.

Veterinary care and grooming services

There are several veterinarians in Władysławowo itself. The closest to Gwiazda Morza we recommend are:

If your dog experiences an incident during your stay requiring a bath, or if you forget to trim their nails or fur before departure, the Blue Pet grooming salon Magdalena Michalak will certainly be helpful.

Welcome to Gwiazda Morza - Check the offer of rooms and apartments right by the beach.
